Human Asset Management

While you might have systems to manage your physical assets such as buildings, machinery and equipment, automobiles, computers, furniture and fixtures, how do you manage your most important assets – your employees?

Similar to maintaining and improving your other assets, your human assets are essential for the success of your business and must be taken care of. Do you price them correctly (compensation); have scheduled maintenance (benefits, refresher training, health improvement programs); enhance or extend their productive life (new skills training, customized development plans, motivation programs)?

As Entrepreneurs, you should think of Human Asset Management as a strategic objective and incorporate that in your Mission Statement and Operational Business Plan (see earlier post).

Please check out LTC Performance Strategies at www.ltcperformance.com for expertise in this area. I have worked with them for a long time and highly recommend their services.
